The Gates... Of Sorts....
A pedestrian right of way is being constructed on the roadbed of State Street to make way for construction on Block 37. Yesterday, I watched several workmen putting together this scaffolding for what looks to be a future platform for construction trailers.
Looking at this reminded me of The Gates in Central Park last February.
Naturally, I had to go down and take a few more pictures.
This pedestrian walkway is literally in the second lane of southbound State Street. They have moved traffic over to accommodate.
