Mantis in the Loop...
This past Sunday, we went to Millennium Park early in the morning so I could take pictures before it got crowded (more of those to come soon) and stumbled across a form of nature I hadn't seen in the wild for decades. The Stagmomantis Carolinais not something you would expect to find in such a man-made place as Millennium Park, but this is a good example of nature over man.
